2016 was the last outdoor season in Town Square as the EVP will soon be underway. Don’t worry though, EFM have moved to our NEW outdoor location, Memorial Park, 1230 Esquimalt Road, for May – September! Click here to see all the dates.

July 20th Vendors

Are you excited for the outdoor season? WE ARE! Our lovely vendors, some familiar, some NEW, will be bringing a multitude of fresh, locally grown produce, baked goods, and other tasty foods! Remember your reusable shopping bags and water bottles 🙂

EFM strives to become waste free and have encouraged our vendors to reduce single use plastic where at all possible. Some vendors have really changed the way they operate and have made great strides, such as Gumboot Bakery, Traditional German Baking, Lone Tree Bakery (all have reduced plastics significantly and will fill your own containers) and Averill Creek Vineyard, Lighthouse Brewing Company and Hoyne Brewing Company now use glass cups for samples! And now there’s Beeswax Wraps on hand too! 👏👏👏

As Plastic Free July continues, so does the sunny warm weather! 😎
Can you believe we’re half way through the outdoor season already??!
Remember to bring your reusable bags, plates, cutlery, water bottles and friends!

Music:
Our Youth MC Lily Cave is back, introducing Isolde Welby, Just Jim and Lorin & Mike!

Food donations will go to Esquimalt Neighbourhood House

Waste-free note: EFM aims to be a waste-free market. You can help us by being a waste-free shopper, by bringing e.g. your own shopping bags, water bottles and plates and cutlery for eating from the food trucks! More about this at the market.

Note: as before, pets are not allowed in the Market and food court area, however, the fine folks of BC SPCA Victoria Branch will be ready to look after your pup whilst you shop, for a $5 donation!

Also, we have a weekly donation bin for food from home or food you bought at the Market that goes to the Esquimalt Neighbourhood House, Rainbow Kitchen & Senior Program through the Esquimalt Rec. They would also be happy to accept non-food donations

Don’t forget – Memorial Park! (not Town Square – that’s now a big hole 😆)

EFM will of course also be there and will have Market Bucks for purchase and immediate use (ideal if you run out of cash, AND they would also make a great gift! Also, EFM branded items including tshirts, tank tops, baby onesies and children’s tshirts, cotton and hemp shopping totes and other goodies!

Other Important Information!

EFM will also be there with Market Bucks (to buy with a credit card for use immediately, like a super handy cashpoint!) and Market totes, tank tops, and tshirts as well as other goodies for you 🙂

Parking is available in the area but if at all possible, please walk, bus or cycle to the Market so more Market lovers can enjoy!

EFM are striving towards being a waste-free market and so please help by bringing reusable bags and containers where possible.

Bring an item for the donation hamper (all non-perishable and perishable foods, non-foods welcome!) that EFM will deliver to local community orgaisations.
